Availability
Availability on Käringön is limited.
It is normally good to get to and from the island with the regular ferries, even if the gangways are steep out on Käringön. It is fine to get around with a wheelchair on large parts of the island, but many of the island's shops, hotels and restaurants are located on Skeppersholme, where a very steep hill must be passed.
In principle, none of the activities on the island are disabled-friendly, and the same applies to the baths. Despite this, we have many wheelchair-bound visitors who still manage to visit Käringön in a good way with assistance.
The Lothotellet is included in the Accessibility database and you can form your own opinion there.
